Stores/Warehouse Associate
Salary: $ 1,700.00 - $ 1,739.00 Bi-Monthly
Job Location: This position will be located at MO-AVCRAD 5250 West Depot Road, Springfield, MO 65803

This position is located in a state-of-the-art Army National Guard aircraft maintenance facility and on-site gym available.
What you’ll do:
- Uses proper forms to record data of outgoing materials. Properly preserves and packages aircraft components for shipping, to include hazmat shipments. Assigns document numbers as required. Accurately completes shipping documents. Marks and labels shipping containers in accordance with military standard 129. Stages shipments for pick up and contacts carriers as needed.
- Maintains and operates the FedEx online database to ensure up-to-date information for MO-AVCRAD customer address file. Assigns proper reference data to each shipment to ensure accurate billing.
- Operates specialized equipment such as forklifts.
- Provides guidance and approval on all purchases and requisition procedures, transportation providers, and shipment methods for equipment and tools.
- Assists with ordering supplies required for packaging and preservation of aircraft components.
- Assists in developing storekeeping methods and procedures to ensure efficiency of quality management program.
- Advises and assists staff with inventory procedures and works with division to complete required cyclical inventories.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience maintaining inventory items and related records.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and requisitioning procedures.
- Ability to compare materials and supplies with specifications.
- Ability to determine appropriate action to take regarding items not in conformance with specifications.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
