About this Position:
The Web Development Supervisor leads a team of 12 web developers who provide daily support to agency users through updates to content, training staff, participating in projects, troubleshooting site issues, as well as checks and remediation to enforce accessibility standards.
The team works in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for the management of both static and content management style sites. This team works closely with agency staff to ensure the citizens of the state have access to online services on both agency and enterprise levels.
The Web Development Supervisor is responsible for developing policies and standards for the web team members, managing risk, as well as quality checks to ensure security measures are followed. Additionally, the Web Development Team Supervisor works cohesively with other ITSD teams including the Office of Cyber Security, Database, Citizen Portal, Application Development, and State Data Center functional teams.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD).

An in-depth knowledge of content management systems, web and application technologies, and operations is essential to the person who manages this team. A successful candidate will possess a customer-focused approach, care about growing others and bringing them together around what is possible, and have a strong ability to balance a variety of time-sensitive priorities. People in this role get a thrill from the journey of building and delivering functionality, and have a desire and ability to connect with our agency customers to fully understand their needs.
