The Nevada Supreme Court is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to lead and oversee various IT projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from initial requirements definition through to deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success and deliver high-quality software platforms.
This position can be located in Carson City or Las Vegas. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, including identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, on schedule, and within defined budgets, working collaboratively with project staff from various functional departments.
- Progress Analysis: Analyze project progress and adapt scope, timelines, and costs as necessary to ensure the project team adheres to project requirements and deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Development: Coach and educate project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Previous success in producing deliverable software platforms, with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in developing in-house platforms for internal processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
- Experience in coaching and educating project teams to enhance their skills and performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or commensurate work experience.
- Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
Effectively works remotely and manages employees from a remote location, as needed. Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams. Must have the ability to work remotely via an internet network connection provided by the employee. This connection speed must be sufficient to perform all duties. A minimum of 50-100 mb download speeds are required. Higher connection speed may be required if sharing this connection with other members in an employee’s household.
