Responsibilities of a Business License Specialist III• Coordinate the acquisition and maintenance of dealer bonds and dealer insurance policies.• Manage the process of obtaining and renewing driving school bonds and driving school insurance.• Facilitate third-party reporting procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.• Oversee the certification process for third-party entities involved in our operations• Maintain accurate records of driving school licenses and dealer licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline licensing and insurance processes and resolve any issues that may arise.• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to licensing and insurance requirements.• Provide guidance and support to team members and customers regarding licensing and insurance-related matters.• Performs additional duties as may be required by supervisor.

Minimum QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Additional Requirements• Considerable knowledge of office policies, practices and procedures. Knowledge of grammatical rules and clerical formats. Ability to deal effectively with the public in handling inquires and communicating information. Ability to establish and maintain a complex filing system. Ability to collect, compile and assemble information in a clear concise manner. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to type and use a personal computer proficiently.• Work under general supervision. Job duties primarily involve the performance of administrative tasks. Work requires discretion in the interpretation of application of policies and procedures within a specific area. • Works in general office environment with some background noise. Ability to speak and hear with clarity. Good eye and hand coordination, bending, lifting and manual dexterity. Interactions with other departments and offices by telephone.
