What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Vice President – Academic Affairs position at State of South Carolina?
Assists the Vice President for Academic Affairs by providing leadership in the management of personnel in assigned areas of responsibility. Developments plans to support the accomplishment of the College's mission, evaluates progress of Academic planning objectives and interprets results for continuous improvement. Manages instructional management functions including classroom facilities, monitoring assessment of program outcomes, and managing outreach classes and distance education delivery. Participates in planning/implementation of expenditures of grant funds and manages budgets through periodic review of expenditures and planning for budget needs. Participates in College, community, and professional development activities including Deans/Directors Council and peer groups. Master’s degree plus five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experienceCentral Carolina Technical College is sincerely committed to both effective managerial practice and equitable treatment of employees.
