Use your skills to do important and meaningful work. Make a difference for the people of Washington! Join the AOC as the Solutions Architect for the Hope Card Program.
What is the Hope Card Program? The Hope Card Program (established by HB 1766 and taking effect January 1, 2025) provides laminated, wallet-sized proof of an underlying protection order in lieu of carrying the full order. A Hope Card is a more portable, durable option which displays vital info about a protection order so law enforcement can quickly verify its existence. The program is inspired by successful initiatives in other states cultivating practical solutions to real-world challenges. Hope Cards provide survivors with a standardized and reliable means of communication with law enforcement, fostering a safer environment for those experiencing violence and abuse.
