Job Posting for IT Project Manager at State of Washington Joint Legislative Systems...

Description

Screening will begin immediately; therefore, we encourage you to submit your application materials as soon as possible. The hiring manager reserves the right to close the posting once a selection has been made.

The Legislative Service Center, also known as LEG-TECH is the dedicated technology solutions provider for the Washington State Legislature. We are a team of technology professionals committed to consistently meeting or exceeding customer and team expectations with innovative products and services. Our team is passionate about technology, and we aim to provide a world-class IT customer service experience. Whether it takes the form of back-end infrastructure services, hardware and software troubleshooting, application development, supporting our hybrid cloud and on-premise environment, direct front-line customer support, service desk or training, we support a connected Legislature!

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, senior-level project manager to join our organization. We’re more interested in candidates with demonstrated experience successfully delivering a variety of information technology projects and less in specific certifications. This role will work alongside our technology portfolio managers by managing projects outside established portfolios or across multiple portfolios. You will help guide our end-user community with technology assessment, build versus buy decisions, and enterprise-wide implementation. You will work with our customers and our development, infrastructure, and support teams to create solutions for complex challenges.

This is a hybrid work position based in Olympia, Washington, on the beautiful Capitol campus. While we embrace a “remote-first” work approach, an on-site presence will be necessary at times but predictable. Developing rapport with our team and customers is critical in this role. We rely on discretion to determine when team, colleague, and customer interactions require an in-person presence.

Are you motivated to make things better, driven to succeed, and a big-picture problem-solver? If so, let’s talk!

Our Mission & Vision
LEG-TECH is the non-partisan technology solutions provider to the Washington State Legislature. Our goal is to provide a gold-standard customer and team experience. We strive to create a seamlessly digitally connected Legislature serving the citizens of Washington State. Our work is engaging and rewarding, and you'll work with a team that is talented and dedicated to continuous improvement in delivering great products and services!

Our vision is to remain a trusted technology partner for the Washington State Legislature.

Our mission is to provide secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions with exceptional customer services.

LEG-TECH offers a forward-thinking environment in terms of keeping pace with technological advances and encouraging professional growth with training and project opportunities. We strive to create an inclusive working environment that supports diversity through equitable policy and practice. This is a great place to grow your career!
