Coil Machine Operator
Hour Rate Plus a production incentive!
Starting range is $17.00 to $18.00
Hours are from 6:30 AM to 4 PM
Duties: Responsible for:
Operation of automated Coil Steel Machine (Dahlstorm Line)
Responsibilities:
* Process cut orders coil Machine.
* Maintain a clean machine and surrounding area.
* Maintain production levels necessary to maintain supply and demand.
* Work in a fast pace environment with rapidly changing priorities.
* Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
* Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
* Lifting materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually, or using hoist or overhead crane.
* Follow all safety requirements regarding forklift, crane, and Laser operation.
* Load infeed tables with proper material and remove finished goods from outfeed tables.
* Performing preventative maintenance as required.
* Understand and operate Coil Machine controls.
* Understand and monitor variables.
* Ensure output product meet quality requirements.
* Set-up and arrange work area as suited for most efficient production runs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
* Basic troubleshooting and repair.
* Able to work orders and general instructions.
* Proven measurement and mathematical fractional/decimal conversion skills.
* Able to distinguish material types including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
* Candidate must be a strong team player.
* Candidate has to be reliable.
* Able to use measuring tools including but not limited to calipers, tape measure, & protractors.
* Use hand tools as required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Trained forklift and crane operator.
* A high school graduate or GED equivalent w/ English language fluency.
* Previous production experience is preferred.
* Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical controls.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
