The Global Delivery Reconciliation team is dedicated to managing the firms risk via review and remediation of KRI exceptions. managing/eliminating risk by creating, measuring, monitoring and remediation KRI exceptions. Team create daily, weekly, and monthly reports identifying key exceptions and remediation assessments and conducts process and service reviews to identify barriers to performance excellence. Team works with the respective functional units to develop custom improvement plans which enhance service levels and eliminate operational and technical barriers. What you will be responsible for As Reconciliation, Managing Director, you will: Review and assess the operating model, ensuring proper management and workflow from our 3rd party business partner. Drive operational solutions for Reconciliations to mitigate risk and improve performance Identify and understand the root cause of issues and facilitate action plans to enhance the overall client experience Lead improvement efforts and support critical remediation efforts across Red. Identify gaps in existing procedures or controls, and make recommendations and assist in implementation of improvement Reinforce proper procedures, standardization and drive accountability across the teams lients across various reconciliation areas (cash, positions, past due income, tax reclaim, prime broker, pends, bank loan, derivatives, etc.), Conduct meaningful data analysis to inform leadership on trends on root causes and strategic remediation plans Build and monitor remediation plans to ensure accountability within Delivery Drive end to end automated solutions for Recon by liaising with IT and technical partners What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role Strong ability to create the future Strong ability to lead others Committed sense of urgency, accountability and teamwork Ability to efficiently multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines Independent decision making and strong problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management Education & Preferred Qualifications 20 years in operations/back office servicing (strong knowledge in investments and reconciliations) Strong technology knowledge and understanding, especially with TLM and EZOPS Strong business analysis and project management Experience working with reconciliations for large global custodians across multiple locations and time zones Strong collaboration and relationship management skills About State Street What we do.
