Operation Manager - 1st shift.
Pay range: $65k-75k plus bonus.
Shift: M-F / 6am to 4pm (must be flexible).

Requirements:
  • Must have at least 4-6 years of Operations Manager and higher experience.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain management, and or Retail consolidation.
  • Must be experienced in WMS, TMS, and Outlook (Synapse experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must have experience running facilities with more than 80 associates.
  • Must have experience running facilities bigger than 300k square feet.
  • Must understand how Retail Consolidation and pick/pack operations function.
Job Desc:

Day to Day tasks:
  • Meet with your leadership team every morning to discuss workflow, head count, and pain points.
  • Release waves in our WMS (Synapse).
    • Validate other customer waves/appointments for accuracy through WMS reporting.
  • Assigning picking task for both 1st and 2nd shift.
  • Assist in locating missing pallets or cases on the OB.
  • Monitor head count (Daily in AM).
    • HC for every department.
    • HC versus workflow.
  • Validate all picking is done within the SLA (Repeat this process multiple times a day).
    • Run pick status report in Synapse.
  • Assist everyone with issues that they cannot resolve.
    • All facets of the facility/operation.
  • Follow through with VAS Projects.
  • Cycle counts for customers (Every customer gets 1 a year and Salov gets 2).
  • Monitor damages.
  • Ensuring outbound appointment times are up to date.
  • Investigating detainments.
  • Assist in implementing new SOP's.
  • Work with Dispatch on discrepancies with appointment times, revisions, or other issues that arise during the day.
  • Reviewing S-report/Put away task.

Claims:
  • Investigate any claims that the departments send over to the warehouse.
Payroll:
  • Look at timecards daily.
  • Weekly send payroll to temp agencies.
  • Bi-weekly approve payroll in Paylocity (previously we use to send payroll to HR).
  • Approve or Deny PTO/Sick time.
Cross dock:
  • Review license plate info and entered status orders to ensure the process is running accurately.
Project area:
  • Ensure no damages (exposed food or liquids) are being kept in the project area.
  • Reviewing projects are being completed from our customers.
  • Review weekly damage report with your leadership team.
Bills/Quotes:
  • Sending approved invoices to our billing department.
  • Reviewing and getting approval on quotes through Net Suite.
Supplies:
  • Managing inventory on supplies for the warehouse (Stretch wrap, coffee, printing paper etc.)
    • This needs to be done by the Leaders of their perspective departments.
Corrective Action:
  • All verbal/written/final/terminations.
