Statewide Ankle Monitoring (SAM) is a partner in helping millions of individuals to live and drive responsibly, plus navigate the pre-trial release and post-conviction court ordered requirements. SAM provides installation and removal of a non-removable, waterproof, and shock-resistant GPS tracker, and one of the leading local providers of Ignition Interlock Devices (IIDs) installation in the Terrebonne Tri-Parish area.

We hire people who we expect will produce exceptional results, deliver amazing service to our clients including customers, attorneys, state associations and more, and inspire positive change within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Installation, calibration, repair and removal of breath alcohol ignition interlock devices in accordance to state and manufacture program rules.

2. Provide technical support to customers as required.

3. Install GPS OM500 Ankle Bracelet or other like item.

4. Facilitate on-site training of customers with the activation and operation of an ignition interlock device or how to use the OM500

5. Install interlock devices into customer vehicles.

6. Troubleshoot/diagnose reports of malfunctioning devices.

7. Report any suspicion of equipment tampering or attempt to bypass.

8. Follow all manufacture-specified procedures, which include but are not limited to, the requirement of connected all state-specified components.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must be able to pass and retain a Secret level Security clearance.

a. No Prior Felony Arrests

b. No Prior DUI Arrests

2. High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

3. 2 years of hands-on experience with 12-volt, reading schematics, and troubleshooting installations.

4. Installation and servicing stereo, alarm, remote start, or similar systems are preferred.

5. High quality installation experience, intermediate knowledge of automotive wiring

6. Experience with problem solving and resolving conflict.

7. Ability to travel between service center and clients remote needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.23 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
