Job Description
We are seeking a competent, proactive, and committed individual to take on the role as Sourcing Specialist in Italy. The Sourcing Specialist runs purchasing processes and will be responsible for tendering and negotiations. The Sourcing Specialist ensures that products and services are sourced at competitive total cost and that processes are run in a compliant and efficient manner.
Working in Statkraft
Statkraft is a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. The Group produces hydropower, wind power, solar power, greener grid parks and supplies district heating. Statkraft is a global company in energy market operations.
The slogan of Statkraft Group Procurement is One Procurement and is organized as a business partner role delivering strategic, tactical, and operational procurement services to our customers. The department as a whole is responsible for the execution of procurement in large projects and category management in OPEX and CAPEX, as well as being responsible for procurement governance, processes, and systems.
Statkraft in Italy consists of 45 people, is focused on Wind, Solar and Storage technologies and develops projects from origination to permitting, construction and asset management. The Statkraft main office in Italy is in Milan.
As a Sourcing Specialist working in Group Procurement, you will:
- Take a strong responsibility for delivering value through procurement in Italy
- Develop sourcing plans to meet internal customer requirements
- Analyse the Italian supply markets to identify sustainable potential suppliers and market trends
- Manage the procurement process from developing the sourcing strategy, prequalification, sending out the request for proposal, negotiations, supplier selection and follow up including supplier assessment
- Identify areas of repeat spend and establishing Framework Agreements.
- Monitor and follow-up of suppliers
- Analyse procurement spend, supply base and buying behaviour.
- Support internal customers
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes
- Assist in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) including generation of purchase orders in SAP
- Roll out procurement training to new starters and hold regular workshops with existing staff
- Support Contract Managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in relevant discipline area or documented experience in the field
- Solid procurement experience
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
- Advanced analytical skills
- Good IT skills (experience with SAP and Jaggaer is an advantage)
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to successfully work, educate and support multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders simultaneously
- Proactive and a quick learner
- Proven track record of high customer satisfaction
