BREAKFAST ATTENDANT
JOB DESCRIPTION

General Purpose

Responsible for preparing and serving daily breakfast bar, greeting and ensuring guests are comfortable and overall satisfied. Saturday and Sunday shifts are required.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude and professional manner at all times
• Maintains a safe food environment as directed by both brand and health department standards
• Neatly groomed: hair and fingernails are clean and appropriately styled for business environment; uniform is clean, pressed and fits properly for a professional environment
• Understands and follows all policies regarding setting up and maintenance of the breakfast bar
• Takes inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed
• Prepares foods following menu criteria provided by the brand
• Restocks items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and at the end of the shift
• Keeps work areas clean, sanitary, and organized at all times including but not limited to: removing trash and cleaning the breakfast area, kitchen counters, cabinets and floors
• Responds to guest queries and requests
• Takes initiative to anticipate guest’s needs
• Resolves guest’s complaints professionally, involving a superior when necessary
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Physical requirements:

Breakfast Attendant position require certain physical abilities including but not limited to:

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to 8 hours without a break
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 15 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to frequently bend, stretch, twist and reach

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
