We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our Operational Design Workflow Governance team. As the founding member of this team, you will play a crucial role in building the foundational process and structures necessary for the team’s operations, ensuring scalability to support SteadyMD’s rapid growth. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to do some work from home, as well as on-site work at our St. Louis headquarters.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate complex instructions and process clearly in written and visual formats. Additionally, this candidate has proven experience in managing operational functions, ticketing systems (such as JIRA), and is familiar with healthcare systems and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key peer teams to design and develop standardized operational workflow procedures and policies, with a specific focus on lab results process
- Utilize expertise in our proprietary system, SteadyMD The Clinic, to create scalable, efficient, and quality driven processes that meet the needs of patients, clinicians, and partners
- Manage clinic operational functions, including program configuration and clinician partners
- Oversee internal and external end-to-end testing and work with partners to gather technology needs and inform system enhancements
- Assist the director and potentially manage a small team
Key Duties:
- Manage process and policies related to clinic operational functions, including program configuration and clinician profiles
- Design and develop standardized operational workflow procedures, policies, and internal ticketing systems to prioritize and manage requests
- Create project plans, outlining tasks required for the timely delivery of operational workflow procedures, policies, and requests
- Develop materials to guide clinicians in understanding program overviews and workflows
- Identify functionality gaps and collaborate with product management to enhance our products
- Ensure the team is aware of key deliverables, priorities, and milestones
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Management)
- Experience managing operational functions and developing workflow procedures and policies
- Project management and communication expertise with the ability to create, communication, and execute project plans in order to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Jira or similar ticketing systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Proven experience in clinic operations management or a similar role and familiarity with healthcare systems and technology, preferably in a telehealth environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team
