What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Coding Coach and Teacher position at STEAM Learning Club?

We are looking for a Lego Robotics Coach for our Lego Spike s coding and building classes.
- The objective is to coach team of elementary school students (grades 4-5) or middle school students (grades 6-8) for FLL robotic competition.
- The coach is responsible for teaching Lego block coding skills (80%) and instruct students to build robot (20%) to meet class curriculum and competition objectives.
You should apply if :
* You have teaching experience, specifically on Lego EV3 and Spike prime building and coding.
* You are able to successfully manage small group (up to 8 students) class room, and help students to understand and master the concepts.
* You are able to work on Lego EV3 robot building, coding, troubleshooting. You can also teach and help students to apply the skills to competition mat.
* Has robotic coding knowledge in competition tactics and skills.
* You can review resources (such as multiple curriculums) to build a step-by step plan for guiding the team towards competition requirements.
This role is part-time position. The class schedule can be flexible, mostly between 4-7pm after school hours and total number of hours varies ( Approximately 2-5 hrs / week).

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
