We are looking for a certified Montessori guide with the talent to enrich the learning environment with the STEAMspark curriculum, incorporating age-appropriate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics concepts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ignite the “spark” in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify professional development needs aligned with Montessori principles.
- Design and implement targeted, evidence-based professional development sessions.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers through observation, feedback, and modeling.
- Facilitate the effective implementation of Montessori curriculum in classrooms.
- Support teachers in adapting and enhancing curriculum materials to meet individual student needs.
- Keep abreast of educational trends and research to inform curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Work with teachers to analyze student data and assessment results to inform instructional decision-making.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of effective assessment practices aligned with Montessori principles.
- Serve as a Montessori philosophy advocate and resource for teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and collaborative school culture rooted in Montessori principles.
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and other instructional coaches to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years’ experience as a classroom teacher, Montessori Guide, and/or Montessori Assistant
- Montessori Credential from a MACTE accredited center
Preferred Qualifications
- Montessori Certification
Salary
Pay range of $24 to $29 per hour
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit on the floor for presenting lessons.
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
