SteelCraft is seeking a reliable, dynamic, and energetic Site & Events Assistant who has a genuine love of hospitality. The Site & Events Assistants responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, running daily operations of SteelCraft, providing exemplary customer service, and executing all company standards and processes. The Site & Events Coordinator will oversee and contribute to the planning, organization, and training necessary to achieve SteelCraft’s objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, communication, and most importantly, guest service. The Site & Events Coordinator is the face of SteelCraft and is someone who understands the nuances of effective communication, demonstrates the ability to deliver the SteelCraft story, and builds meaningful relationships with colleagues and clientele.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Forecast and determine resources and requirements for events
· Serve as on-site contact person during events to handle any unexpected changes, requests or unusual circumstances that arise
· Effectively communicate to cultivate rapport with guests, vendors, residential neighbors, and staff, etc.
· Provide leadership to ensure the smooth operation during peak hours
· Act as point-of-contact for all SteelCraft Vendors and handle issues that arise
· Provide information to guests regarding amenities including parking, restrooms, wi-fi, hours of operation
· Provide additional oversight to compliance guidelines
· Establish exemplary standards of performance for the dining area
· Ensure proper security procedures are in place and upheld
· Ensure a safe environment for staff and guests to reduce the risk of accident/injury
· Maintain excellent communication with SteelCraft Management Team
WHAT YOU NEED
· Minimum of 1-3 years of previous food service and restaurant and hospitality experience
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Ability to work varied hours, weekends and holidays are a must
· Passion for growth and strong desire to succeed
· Excellent time management skills and punctuality
· Ability to prioritize and meet multiple project deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a variety of personalities
· Organized, detailed and deadline-oriented
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Valid driver’s license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
