Summary:

This position is part of our Risk Management Department which is a critical function at Stellantis Financial Services (SFS). Utilizing advanced business intelligence techniques and reporting tools, this role will work with other team members of the Risk Management Dept. as well as the management in various business areas to control and mitigate risks while facilitating growth. This role requires personal initiative to create business intelligence risk reporting, data processing and be a leader for the team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Solely responsible for maintaining organizational risk reporting needs
  • Solely responsible for maintaining the data environment that supports risk reporting
  • Lead a team of Risk analysts for producing organizational risk reporting needs
  • Produce standardized reports that summarize/provide update on activities in various business areas
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on data, portfolio performance, and risk decision related issues
  • Provide support to the development of the tracking / monitoring mechanism to track or monitor population shift, performance changes, operations efficiency, etc.
  • Implement new policies/solutions/strategies in various systems
  • Use quantitative and analytical skills to mine, process and analyze data using SAS, SQL, or other data analytical tools
  • Trouble-shoots data deficiencies and errors to ensure timely and accurate analysis of the data
  • Ensures tasks on assigned projects are accurately completed in a timely manner
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures
  • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative fields, plus two years of experience with data analytics. OR Master’s degree in above fields


Language Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good verbal and written communication skills; Capable of communicating effectively with various department leaders


Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to derive conclusions and make recommendations beyond the scope of written policies or standard guidelines.


Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with SQL, SAS, or other statistical analysis software/language. And advanced training in statistics, data analysis, MIS, or computer programing
