What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Chief - Wiring position at Stellantis?
The Project Chief is responsible for program management and integration of harness and distribution box integration for specific vehicle programs and oversees vehicle milestones and associated key process indicators for systems, including parts, cost/weight/investment, change management, technical and non-technical issue resolution, plant/pilot build support and warranty tracking if the vehicle is already in production. The Project Chief will also be responsible for reporting status to multiple levels of the organization on a regular basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer/Computer Science or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university
- 8 years of automotive experience
- Vehicle wiring and manufacturing experience at the vehicle and harness level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- DFSS Green Belt desirable
- Wiring and/or distribution box experience
