Stellar has an immediate opportunity for a VTC / ADPE Techician to support the Air Force at Wrigh-Patterson AFB in the Dayton, OH., area.
Primary Duties:
- Monitors, schedules, operates, and maintains the customer’s video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and network and coordinates connection with numerous sites, proficient in operation of various audiovisual components.
- May coordinate installation or install video equipment.
- Troubleshoots VTC networks.
- May train others to use equipment.
- Provides training on VTC systems.
- Explains and demonstrates installation VTC equipment to operators, using hand-tools and following vendor manuals.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of VTC and network-related tasks.
- Requires ahigh school diploma or GED with vocational training desirable.
- Two (2) years of experience in operating, scheduling, and maintaining conference and videoconference facilities.
- Experience in secure and unsecure VTC Operations, VTC troubleshooting, and set-up is preferred.
- Must be experienced in PowerPoint briefings.
- Must have experience in performing user level preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinating with equipment vendors as necessary.
- Must currently possess and be able to maintain an active Secret Clearance.
- Must be willing & able to become certified by GVS as a VTC Facilitator, Level I.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
