Moving Supervisor

Stellar Moving is a growing moving company that specializes in providing our clients with a stress-free and efficient moving experience. We are currently seeking an experienced Moving Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the moving crew during daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Ensure proper moving procedures and best practices are consistently followed by the crew to prevent damage to clients' belongings and property.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper moving techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of crew members, providing constructive feedback and addressing any performance-related issues.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the CEO, providing regular updates on job progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and manage crew schedules and assignments, ensuring adequate staffing for all jobs.
• Collaborate with other company departments to ensure smooth logistics and coordination between teams.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, working to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that all company equipment, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and functioning correctly.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve company processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the moving industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of moving procedures, equipment, and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in moving operations or related fields is a plus.
