Job Description
As the Facilities Project Manager, you will manage construction, renovation, and maintenance projects of large senior living communities. You will oversee and assist community team on matters such as improvements, quality control measures, prevention maintenance, work order management and monitor repair of building systems. The right candidate will be great at problem solving and will have great organization skills to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life/safety, electrical and plumbing operations for the building under his/her direction.
- Management the flow and schedule of maintenance and repair projects
- Work with the Executive Director in developing and managing projects, such as upgrading mechanical systems and building improvements.
- Involved in the hiring, training and supervising of the Director of Maintenance and other on-site mechanical and maintenance staff.
- Oversee the coordination of technical service providers, including assisting with biding contracts and the monitoring of quality control.
- Assist with the preparation of capital budgets for the properties. Report project status and capex budgets
- Develops and implements ongoing administration of a comprehensive equipment and preventative maintenance program.
- Oversee Facilities Maintenance Directors and on site mechanical and maintenance staff in the implementation of comprehensive life safety program, including resident fire drills, system testing and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Must have significant experience in performing construction management for major construction projects. Direct experience with the development, implementation, and the management of capital improvement budgets for multiple location.
- 4-year degree in Construction Management or related.
- Experience with computerized preventive maintenance and work order systems.
- Project Management experience related to the upgrading and/or replacement of major building systems and construction improvements.
- HVAC, electrical or other construction management licensing preferred.
