What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Recruiter position at Stellar?
Stellar is looking for a Contract Recruiter to augment our corporate recruiting teams efforts in filling Skilled Trades, Sales, Project Management and Technical roles for our Dallas office. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates to fill various construction/home repair-related positions such as Project Managers, Superintendents, HVAC Specialists, and Plumbing experts for various internal roles in Dallas. You will work closely with the hiring managers and Stellar's People Team to understand the specific requirements and identify the best candidates for each position by sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates to hiring managers for roles within Operations and Technology. An ideal candidate is someone that has experience in the real estate, home maintenance, or trades industry and understands the importance of creating a stellar candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle.

- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements and expectations for each role.
- Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with successful candidates.
- Work with the internal People Team to manage the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Measure and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate conversion rates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and vendors as needed.
What You Bring:
- Proven success as a corporate or contract recruiter for various positions, including Skilled Trades role as a preference
- Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
- Experience in the real estate, home maintenance, or two-sided marketplace is a plus
- Familiarity with Paycor Applicant Tracking System is a plus
- Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting)
- Excellent communication skills

Salary : $57,300 - $72,500
