About The Role
The Agile Project Manager role is responsible for supporting the Agile Project Management team by assisting high-quality software development projects using agile methodologies. The incumbent should be familiar with agile principles, practices, and frameworks, such as SAFe. Furthermore, the incumbent will support cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders, including but not limited to business teams, product owners, and technical teams. The goal of the collaboration will be to develop and implement new applications, software, or systems. The incumbent will provide necessary support for various software development projects. They will participate in agile ceremonies and scrum meetings, and identify project risks and issues, all while ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The incumbent must have strong communication skills, and help foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team
What The Role Will Do
Drive the day-to-day activities of software development projects by developing high-level plans, delivering risk-management and contingency planning, and guiding/mentoring junior team members
Ensure timely and efficient communication with stakeholders
Recommend improvements to the project management process based on best practices, such as project planning, scheduling, and tracking
Track project plans, timelines, and budgets, and deliver senior Agile project manager status updates
Collaborate with senior Agile project managers to identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and provide necessary resolution support
Ensure that technical teams have the necessary resources and tools needed to meet project requirements as defined in acceptance criteria, definition of done, and definition of ready
Support Agile practices by attending and participating in Agile activities, and provide ongoing feedback on success of adoption
Prepare materials to present to stakeholders, to manage stakeholder expectations and to show project progress
Conduct all work in adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement of project delivery processes
Synthesize insights on project progress and status updates to be communicated to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

2-4 years of IT and/or business experience and hands-on experience managing agile IT projects
Experience with managing software development projects using Agile methodologies
Moderate understanding of Agile practices and tools, such as PI Planning, defining acceptance criteria, and automated testing
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, such as UX designers, developers, testers, QA analysts, and business analysts
