The Project Surveyor holds responsibility for comprehending and conveying project scope, overseeing multiple projects and team members, providing training and guidance to staff, and ensuring the production of all land survey documents and deliverables in line with the role's requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee survey tasks
- Coordinate survey crew schedules
- Determine optimal data collection methods
- Prepare field data, conduct record research, process field data, verify survey data accuracy, and perform survey calculations
- Manage base mapping processes, and prepare plats and easements
- Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records for field surveys
- Participate in fieldwork as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional Degree in Land Surveying Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred:
- Registered Licensed Surveyor (PS), or ability to obtain licensure within 6-8 months
- Experience in supervising and guiding junior staff
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3-D is advantageous
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
