What are we looking for:
Client’s Production Engineering Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Safety Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage various large scale safety projects at the client Motor Manufacturing Kentucky.
What you will be doing:
Managing TMMK’s PPE Program
Managing the on-site safety shoe store, PPE vendors, etc ·
Strive to find the latest and most effective PPE for various processes ·
Manage a team of Team Member behavior auditors ·
Support Equipment Safety checks (Kanban) to ensure equipment meets safety requirements before being released to production · Support the Weekend Work calendar for equipment buyoffs, audits, etc (approx. 1 weekend every 6 weeks)
Train New Hire Safety Orientation ·
Various other projects to ensure TMMK’s compliance with the client, OSHA, and other standards
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Occupational Safety or related field ·
Experience developing, implementing, and managing proactive safety programs ·
Experience creating, performing, tracking, and managing safety auditing systems ·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) ·
Experience interpreting and applying safety standards (i.e. OSHA, ISO, ACGIH, ANSI)
Added Bonus:
CSP, ASP, or other Safety Certification
Experience with data management software like Power BI
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
