Onsite Work - Need Software Integration Specialist in Hyannis MA

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a Software Integration Specialist to join our application team and provide solution design, user support, and training. Be part of our digital transformation as we further modernize our intelligent storage automation offering with enhanced ERP connectivity and software packages.

This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a repeatable process to easily connect enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems to our vertical lift module (VLM)product line. Your ideas will be valued, and your work will be impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with sales presentations to show prospective customers the available methods to bidirectionally exchange data between their host systems and our VLM solution. Present and discuss detailed solution architecture with a working knowledge of virtual machines, servers, networking, general database design, and security. Create business process diagrams and collaborate with customers regarding integrations with 3rd party applications and other applications. Identify and document customer needs, define a solution architecture and specification, implement solutions. Write and troubleshoot database queries using SQL. Implement standard APIs for communication between platforms using REST, SQL, and flat file architectures. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft C# and the .Net framework. Data exchange fundamentals desired. Implement and troubleshoot configuration files for software and hardware accessories. Document final solution and publish documentation to aid in technical support. Demonstrates strong organizational & prioritization skills. Providing timely and accurate customer communication in email, text, and phone. Provides client training both remote and on-site. Specifies technical hardware and software that best fits the client's requirements. Define and communicate solution backup and recovery plans. Assists in developing the software development roadmap. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Willingness to work outside normal business hours or extended to support customer needs and operational schedule. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data transformation via comma delimited or fixed field formats. Working knowledge of XML and application configuration using XML.

Qualification Requirements

A passion for working with clients and delivering results-oriented solutions 2 years of experience in SQL, SQL Express, or similar relational database platform Experience in integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured data systems in cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP and API Integration Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Server Platforms Experience Interfacing with ERP or MRP systems Network experience with IP and subnetting Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Python, REST APIs, Data Storage/Caching Solutions Experience with defining client business and software operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions Collaborative in teams and ability to self-manage and work independently if necessary. Self-Starter with a problem-solving mindset. Prior experience in user support or a similar role. Excellent interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. Good written and verbal communication. Gathers and updates necessary information and communicates to appropriate parties. Open communication with leadership and stakeholders Ability to own a project from start to finish Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field experience.
