Stenger & Stenger, PC is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our organization. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented and has a passion for process improvement. They will bring exceptional communication skills to the role that enables the firm to effectively present financial insight across the organization, to drive innovation within the firm, and be seen as a subject matter expert for the accounting and finance team. Our idea candidate will:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in timely preparation of financial statements and budgets
- AR and AP experience
- Experience with Payroll processing (preferably with ADP)
- Exceptional computer and technology skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
On a daily basis, our Accounting Specialist will take ownership of the general ledger and financial statement preparation, lead the team working in accounts payable process, and support the implementation of a new core business application. Additional areas lof opportunity include assisting with the payroll processes, analyzing current accounting data to assist in decision making, and demonstrating leadership among a team of 12 employees. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel) required and strong knowledge of SQL a definite plus.
