As a Web Researcher, you will learn the skills required to develop proficiency in Skip Tracing, the art of locating individuals using public data sources including consumer information databases, to help identify consumers who have delinquent accounts. This is role has significant growth opportunities within the Asset Location Team and other teams involved in the legal processing side of our firm. A Web Researcher will have the following primary responsibilities:
- Partner with Skip Tracers to enter information into our claim management system.
- Develop analytics skills used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information from various sources, such as court records, credit header data, and people location software.
- Perform in depth people searches for information to assist in the legal collections process.
- Make phone contact as needed to confirm data.
- Update verified data in system of record.
Qualified applicants will possess the following skills:
- Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with research and web search tools and techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience in a customer service, call center, or administrative role is preferred
