What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Stephen Gould Corporation?
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Inventory Specialist to become part of the Stephen Gould Indianapolis branch. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be help support the management of SKUs and any activities necessary to meet Stephen Gould’s supply chain, inventory, and production goals.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Transact within our EMS system
- Support 200 SKUs
- Communicate with all internal groups to close any open issue
- Cover any demand that requires order entry into EMS
- Ability to identify and reorder points within EMS
- Place major emphasis on meeting customer requirements
- Update and provide open order and scheduling reports
- Review timelines of scheduled deliveries
- Track inventory levels
- Propose solutions for productivity improvements
- Ensure facility equipment is properly maintained
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 3 years of related experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge and experience with EMS systems
