Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative E-Commerce Manager to oversee our online sales and presence. As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive online traffic, grow revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience across our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with EDI and team management and will be able to develop and implement effective processes to improve efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will live in/around Lubbock or willing to relocate, this position does not allow for remote employment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.
Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, including website management, product listings, pricing, and inventory.
Analyze website traffic and sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to develop and launch new products, promotions, campaigns, and customers.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Optimize the user experience across all digital touchpoints to drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention.
Monitor and improve website performance, including site speed, search engine visibility, and mobile responsiveness.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology partners.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (3 years) in e-commerce management or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics and data interpretation with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
Familiarity with web design principles and UX/UI best practices.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, and technologies.
Experience managing third-party marketplaces such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, etc.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and Dropship partnerships is highly desirable.
Familiarity with ecommerce-related regulations, compliance, and security standards.
