Stephen Merritt, CPA, PC is a rapidly growing accounting firm in the Virginia Beach, VA area. We are currently in search of an Office Admin to connect with and welcome onto our team!
Stephen Merritt, CPA, PC is NOT your typical CPA firm! Applicants must have prior administrative/clerical experience. Minimal training provided. We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to learn and help professional staff with any tasks needed.
Public accounting firm. Hours Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of general office coordination.
- Operate three-line phone system.
- Maintain office calendar to coordinate workflow and meetings using Microsoft Outlook.
- Interact with clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
- Perform general clerical duties including, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing as well as maintaining and coordination records.
- Process tax returns and bind financial statements.
- Prepare client correspondence as needed.
- Monitor and assist with maintenance of organization's website.
- Collect and maintain inventory of office supplies and storage filing.
- Arrange for the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Maintaining office standards with ever changing technology trends
Requirements:
- Minimum Education Requirement- Associates Degree.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well alone.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization.
Salary commensurate with experience. We are a non-smoking office.
