Account Managers Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation
- Identifying client needs and proposing our solutions as appropriate
- Persistent follow-up with prospects
- Tracking Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities in Steptron’s CRM Solution
- Persistent follow-up on proposals
- Persistent follow-up on account receivables
- Communicating progress and status to Management
Skills
As an Inside Sales\Account Manager, you must be motivated, adaptable and resilient with a strong results-oriented work ethic. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of customers. Specific qualifications for the Sales Account Manager position include:
- Prior sales-related experience
- Prior inside B2B sales experience preferred
- Cold calling experience
- Lead tracking & management
- Internet research to identify leads
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record of opening doors, identifying needs and scheduling follow up calls to close the opportunity
- Experience with LinkedIn, Zoho CRM, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
