SUMMARY
Performs basic clerical, administrative and general HR activities to support the facilitation of administrative workload within the organization. Supports an individual or multiple senior leadership members through a variety of tasks related to the organization. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers.
- Responsible for Human Resources administration including personnel files, immunization records, locker distribution, key card distribution, drug screening, etc.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and employee offboarding.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Conducts daily timecard reviews for all non-exempt permanent and temporary employees companywide.
- Track all time and attendance occurrences to ensure compliance with SPSA attendance policies.
Including tracking and developing corrective action forms for all time and attendance policy violations.
- Function as an extension of the Human Resources Department in ensuring corporate programs are implemented and compliance is maintained.
- Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include HR files, I-9 audits,
EEO-1 filings, Hep B logs, and other compliance reviews.
- Formats and types correspondence, documents, memos, reports, meeting minutes and/or presentations materials for all departments.
- Replenishes and manages inventory of all breakroom and front office supplies.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other employee engagement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None, individual contributor
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typically located in an indoor area with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, etc. Occasional and limited exposure to strong odorous elements.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of office experience preferred, with at least one year in human resources highly preferred.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree and/or work equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Moderate knowledge and familiarity of all human resource disciplines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Be able to work independently, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
