Sterling Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Procurement Coordinator for our client in Corpus Christi, TX. The Procurement Coordinator will be developing purchase guidelines for a Manufacturing company. This is a temp, open ended assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all purchasing procedures are being followed
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests
- Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy
- Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists
- Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications
- Verify accuracy of financial or transactional data
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree
- 5 years’ experience in a related position
- Background in Construction
- Strong knowledge of administrative and office procedures
- Proficient with Excel and Word Processing
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per year
