What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery/Warehouse position at Steve's Appliance & Furniture?
As a Delivery/Installation worker, you'll serve as a Steve's Appliance representative, upholding our commitment to excellence by working in a professional manner.
Additional responsibilities include merchandise handling, such as: loading, securing, delivering, set up, troubleshooting and demonstrating. Reviewing sales agreements with the customer is occasionally required.
Job Duties:
Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition
Load, secure and protect product and safely transport merchandise
Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
Assist in maintaining the showroom floor and store's warehouse
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Maintain professional appearance
Attention to detail
Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
Position requires lifting, loading, and dollying heavy merchandise
Must have Good driving skills and the ability to legally operate the Company truck
All personnel must have, a valid Driver's license.
Expect overtime on a regular basis.
A drug screening and criminal background investigation with job performance reference may also be required at time of hire.
