Description
We are looking for a Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various types of packaging machines, such as fillers, sealers, labelers and palletizers. You will also ensure that the quality and quantity of the packaged products meet the standards and specifications of the company and the customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting the packaging machines according to the product specifications and quality standards.
- Loading, feeding, or placing the products into the machines and ensuring they are properly aligned and secured.
- Monitoring the machine operation and performance and making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Inspecting the packaged products for defects, damages, or errors and removing or rejecting any non-conforming items.
- Stacking, labeling, or palletizing the packaged products according to the customer or warehouse requirements.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the machines and the work area and following the safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a packaging machine operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical and technical skills and ability to use tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Physical stamina and strength and ability to lift, move, or handle heavy objects.
- Teamwork and communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
