Design Technology Leader
Position Highlights:
Stewart is seeking a Design Technology Leader to support our Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology enthusiast, passionate about effectively utilizing software to its fullest potential in our design projects. You will work alongside highly collaborative teams across disciplines. Working directly with our practice leadership teams, you will further develop and execute the firm’s technology strategy. You will be exposed to multi-disciplinary projects including campus design, urban design, mixed-use, to large scale master-planning, while also being afforded development opportunities in design technology. Position Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain design technology systems, mainly Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce standards for design technology procedures.
- Strive for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize resources.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate design technology training and development for staff based on best practices and the needs of the firm.
- Provide technical support and assistance on application software and confer with software users about how to solve existing system problems.
- Attend/Participate in training related to design software and technology and provide internal training to staff when appropriate.
- Lead the Stewart CAD Committee.
- Consult with IT, CAD Committee, and practice leadership to develop solutions to design technology related issues and evaluate new design technology software.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in related engineering, technology, or computer field or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design technology software administration and development of standard operating procedures (standards)
- Advanced skills in Autodesk/AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Autodesk certification preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM360 preferred
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering and landscape architecture concepts, principles, theories, and methods required to plan, design and construct site development projects
- Skilled in collaboration and training
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for an employment-based visa
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You are willing and able to work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to lots of light, both natural and artificial. Workstations are in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from co-workers throughout the day. Within the office you are willing and able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity peripherals, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
