What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Manager position at Steyer?
We are looking for a Social Engagement Manager who is passionate about building community through writing and curating thoughtful posts and visual assets that will ultimately drive up click-throughs and engagement among M365 subscribers.
In this role, you will apply your understanding of social engagement specifically with more technical audiences that get excited about early access to new features, who like to dogfood, and to find bugs. You will be responsible for managing the program’s Twitter handle (i.e. daily posts, monitoring, and replying to feedback, ), moderating several forums, answering members' questions, conveying actionable feedback to engineers, and helping foster a steadily growing community. You will also monitor community stats, track engagement, handle issue resolution, and keep a pulse on core performance indicators.
If you are the right fit, you are a talented and customer obsessed copywriter, love leading and elevating digital communities, and are eager and capable of building relationships with other social managers to negotiate cross-links, promos, retweets, etc.
This is a part-time, 10-20 hours/week, remote contract engagement that will be ongoing and longer term, and could grow in hours over time.
Pay rate, depending on experience is 35-40/hr. W2.
Required:
- 4 years of experience as a digital community manager and/or moderator
- 3 years of copywriting experience
- Experience pulling and analyzing community or content metrics
- Strong proficiency with Sprinklr
- Microsoft experience
