We are seeking a usability researcher with experience in conducting B2B UX research and qualitative research skills, for an opportunity with one of our Redmond-based tech clients. In this role, you’ll work within the design team to support foundational research and evaluative design usability testing for their product. You will conduct research on a range of target users including individual employees, People leaders (execs, senior leaders, managers), IT Admins/Managers, and HR / Data analysts.
You will work directly with Design and Product Management partners on projects from early-stage foundational user research to iterative design evaluations. If you are the right fit, you will have a track record of operating independently, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
This is a full-time hourly contract position slated to go until the end of September, 2024 with the strong potential for extension.. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidate located in the Redmond/Seattle area. We'll only be able to respond to applicants who meet the basic qualifications for this role. Required:
6 years experience with conducting B2B UX research
6 years experience with qualitative research skills (devising and evaluating methods and procedures for collecting data, deriving insights from quantitative and qualitative data)
6 years experience with compiling, synthesizing, presenting, and socializing research insights to create impact
Preferred:
Experience with AI-related product solutions
Advanced degree in HCI (human-computer interaction), market research, human factors, psychology, or a related field
Prior experience with qualitative evaluative research and UX Health research (e.g., Heuristic Reviews, Experience Reviews, iterative Usability testing)
Pay range: $55-65/hr. W2, depending on experience
