What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA- 6pm-630am position at stfrhome?
Currently St. Francis Home, a Catholic Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, has part and full time positions available. High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Certified by the State of Michigan as CNA or completed course with testing scheduled within 120 days of employment required. Preferred experience with geriatric population. Must be able to work with limited supervision, handle hectic and stressful situations and effectively deal with residents and their families in a tactful and supportive manner.
The CNA will provide personal care and comfort as needed for residents, assist with meal times, document interventions and care, transport residents within facility. Implement bowel and bladder programs. Assist with restorative and rehabilitation procedures, participate in care plans, and other nursing duties as assigned.
Familiarity with state and accrediting agency requirements for long term care preferred.

Fulltime positions are fully benefited after 60 days including medical, dental, vision, life, and pension. Vacation packages start a 6 months, and increase after 1 year.
