About this Role:
We’re looking for a results-driven Account Executive to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide strategic, scalable solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Own and hit/exceed annual sales quota within assigned vertical and channel
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales quota and expand our customer base
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of account
Requirements:
3 years' experience in sales with proven experience, meeting or exceeding quotas
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Proven ability to position products against competitors
Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Producing cost-benefit analyses to potential customers
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Prior experience with customer relationship management software such as Salesforce
Confident and comfortable with ambiguity that stems from a hyper-growth environment
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Bonus:
Familiarity with the ecommerce industry - billing software, payment processing, ecommerce platforms, fulfillment, etc.
A deep understanding of running an ecommerce business
