Summary
The SBA Loan Specialist completes and verifies all documentation and settlements for 7(a) Loans, Pools, and all other SBA Secondary Market items. This position ensures all SBA Loan standards are being met and maintains spreadsheets with financial information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete and file required documentation for 7(a) Loan Pool Assemblers and all other SBA Secondary Market Program Licensing.
- Verify, upload, and confirm daily SBA trade activities to ensure all trade information is complete and accurate.
- Process and coordinate settlements for 7(a) Loans, Pools, and all other SBA Secondary Market items.
- Review and organize all SBA Loan documentation from clients for accuracy.
- Ensure SBA standards are being met throughout the process in order to reach settlement.
- Maintain spreadsheets containing key financial information regarding SBA Loans.
Qualifications
- Understanding and ability to comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Organized and detailed self-starter who understands and carries out processes in a team environment.
- Knowledge of SBA Loan standards and requirements to perform due diligence reviews.
- Ability to utilize professional communication skills and provide top quality customer service to external clients and internal cohorts.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Required: 1 related experience
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
