Position Summary
The Operations Analyst - Manufacturing and Supply Chain will support operations from a metrics analysis and reporting standpoint. This position will be responsible for learning and understanding Operation's processes and translating the business data into metrics, KPIs and reports that measure performance of the entire operation, departments, production lines and other key elements of the operation. This role will also quickly grow into identifying key areas of performance improvement and assisting in the executing of process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements for operation's performance compliance requiring data analysis, report development and presentation of results. Perform a variety of calculations, analyses, and audits of financial and operational results.
- Analyze operational details to identify potential areas for improvement, savings, or efficiency, including innovative solutions.
- Develop metrics and goals for programs, present information to customers or leaders and prepare templates or details to ensure operations are meeting expectations.
- Work with Sales in development of Forecast utilizing data analytics and trends to reach consensus.
- Provide support for system implementations for ERP, EBR, and Advanced Planning Tools.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations or Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience.
- Three (3) years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience (distribution operations, transportation operations, demand/supply planning).
- Experience with FDA regulated industry (i.e., pharmaceutical, biomedical, medical device, tissue-based) preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP, MRP, and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to develop analytics, reports, and communications.
- Awareness of common systems and databases used for manufacturing and supply chain management.
- Attention to detail and be able to clearly present complex data.
- Self-motivated and willing to embrace ambiguity and new challenges.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Converse with all levels of employees, leadership, consultants, and regulatory entities in a clear and professional manner.
- Able to lift and carry twenty-five pounds, sit or stand for up to two consecutive hours, and don aseptic attire and personal protective equipment.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel and other Microsoft Products.
