This Manufacturing Supervisor will be based at the West Chester location. The hours are Monday – Thursday from 5:30am – 4:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor will provide direction to the weld department, monitor the quality of work, ensure employees receive proper training, enforce company policy, and coordinate with the Maintenance Department concerning maintenance matters.
Job Duties

• Leading daily manufacturing to maximize delivery and productivity while minimizing costs.
• Building and Developing shop personnel to consistently achieve goals: safety, costs and quality.
• Scheduling of personnel & workflow throughout the shop & communicating scheduled working hours to the team
• Possess a “can do” attitude and “will jump in and help” attitude, as this is a working Supervisor position.
• Ensure positive production outcomes by communicating job expectations, planning, appraising job results, coaching shop personnel, disciplining employees, and working with the Production Manager to initiate, coordinate and enforce systems, policies and procedures.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Monitor and enforce cell phone prohibition of shop floor personnel.
• Assist Production Manager with workforce planning and optimizing the flow of production processes.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools, as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing / production or similar environment preferred
• Would love previous experience in Laser/Brake Press operation, Fabrication, blueprint reading, material handling
• High School diploma required, college or some college preferred
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisor role required
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office strongly preferred
• Ability to work 1st shift: Monday – Friday from 5:30am – 4:00pm, (currently working Monday – Thursday)
• Must be able to work well with others, jump in where needed, and lead by example
