We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of a building and carry out cleaning, maintenance. The goal is to keep the building in a clean and orderly condition. Three nights a week from 2am-8am Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Responsibilities

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restroom cleaning etc)
  • Scrub sales floor with 32” automatic floor scrubber
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a janitor
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Integrity and ability to work independently
  • High school degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • No weekends
  • Year round work
