Job Title: Farmhand - Member Services Attendant
Location: Stone Barns Center in Pocantico Hills, NY
Supervisor: Director of Member Services & Events (for respective Member Service Attendant duties); Field and Greenhouse Manager (for respective Farmhand duties)
Employment Classification: Full-time/Salaried, Non-exempt
Frequency of Pay: Bi-weekly
Salary: From $42,000 per year
Benefits: 401k with employer match; health, dental, vision, and life insurance; and generous paid time off
Schedule: 5 days (Wed-Sun), may include some evenings.
Be part of a team working on exciting projects and learn about the intersection between food and farming through a variety of programs and events. In a Member Services Attendant capacity, the ideal candidate will assist in the areas of events, communications & marketing, ensuring a positive and welcoming guest experience.
In a Farmhand capacity, they will be a part of the field and greenhouse operations in collaboration with the crops team. The Farmhand will work within an integrated team of farmers, researchers, and other experts to further the development of a resilient agro-ecological system, explore symbiotic relationships between animals, plant-base, and soil ecology, and contribute to farm innovation and experimentation.
