Job Summary:

The HR/Payroll position at Stonebriar Chevrolet is a full-time, salary administrative role in the automotive industry. This position is located in Frisco, Texas and reports to the HR Manager. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources and payroll for the dealership, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation for this position is $28 to $35 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts on dealership services and merchandise.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Administer and maintain employee benefits programs and communicate policy information to employees
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Enters all employee data changes and updates into HRIS system
  • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics for management review
  • Proactively communicate and educate employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns and escalate issues to HR Manager when necessary
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR/payroll roles, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus


Payroll is CDK/ EV6 Preferred experience or other Payroll system proficiency
