Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Administer and maintain employee benefits programs and communicate policy information to employees
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Enters all employee data changes and updates into HRIS system
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics for management review
- Proactively communicate and educate employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns and escalate issues to HR Manager when necessary
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR/payroll roles, preferably in the automotive industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
