Dairy Risk Management Broker

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

• Support the desk on voice brokerage for dairy futures/options risk management programs, working with corporate dairy clients in the region on their hedging/risk strategy
• Develop the market coverage of the desk across South East Asia, notably Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, etc.
• Build and manage relationships with senior management at dairy producers, traders and sales firms across the region
• Execute futures on exchanges (listed derivatives/ listed futures) on behalf of clients, offering full service voice execution
• Learn the ins & outs of the dairy markets from experienced desk head, gaining a solid understanding of the pressures faced by corporate dairy market participants in the area
• Provide general support to the wider desk and operate within a small team of dairy specialists, running as a profit center
• Presents the brand professionally, showing a true desire to assist clients in their risk management needs, showing a passion for the dairy markets, industry and the firms product offering.
• SFP clients onboarding
• Periodic compliance review
• Onboarding docs refresh
• KYC/AML Refresh
• OTC Trades booking
• Funding, Withdrawal, Margin call follow up.
• Trades check and daily recap
• Market share calculation

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• English and Chinese bilingual preferred
• Candidate must have sales experience in Dairy or Soft Commodities (preferred), other products in the financial industry is acceptable
• Candidates with futures and OTC trade execution experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Prefer someone with financial institution experience but not compulsory
• Meticulous, proactive and can handle pressure
