Part Time Deli Clerk

Responsibilities:

Our deli clerks are weighed by their ability to serve customers. They’re responsible for maintaining deli cases, slicing up meats and cheeses and preparing other products. They share their expertise with customers by offering them great meal options and helping them find exactly what they’re looking for. Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and handling as well as maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Experience in food service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
